At Agencia Cosmos, we protect the personal data of those who visit our website, contact us, or hire us. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, with whom we share it, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Law 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data of the Argentine Republic and its supplementary regulations.

This applies to the agenciacosmos.com.ar website and its subdomains, to our communications with clients and potential clients, and to the internal tools we use to provide our social media management services, including our publishing and analytics application connected to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn.

3. What Data Do We Process?

If you visit the site or write to us

  • Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you send via forms, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Browsing data: technical and usage information (pages visited, device, browser, approximate location) collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

If you're a client and we manage your social media accounts

When you authorize us to manage your business pages and accounts, our app accesses—through the official Meta and LinkedIn APIs—only the information necessary to provide the service:

  • Usernames and names of your Facebook pages, professional Instagram accounts, and LinkedIn company pages.
  • The access credentials (tokens) that these platforms issue to the application.
  • The content we publish on your behalf (text, images, and videos) and links to that content.
  • Performance metrics for your posts and your account (reach, views, interactions, followers) and demographic data aggregated data of your audience (for example, cities or age groups).

The app does not accesses private messages, does not collect individual personal data from your followers, and does not post anything that has not been approved in the content calendar agreed upon with you.

4. How We Use the Data

  • Answer your questions and send you quotes.
  • Provide the contracted services: publish and schedule content, measure results, and prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Manage the business relationship, billing, and support.
  • Improve the site and understand how it's used.
  • To send you updates from the agency, only if you've given us your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).

The processing is based on your consent and, in the case of clients, on the contractual relationship with Agencia Cosmos.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent personal data. We only share it with vendors we need to operate, who process it on our behalf:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn: to publish and track our clients' content, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Google: Website tracking (Analytics and Tag Manager).
  • Hostinger: Hosting for the website and our tools.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside Argentina. In such cases, we require adequate levels of protection. We may also disclose data if required to do so by a competent authority in accordance with the law.

6. How long do we keep them?

  • Inquiries and Contact Information: up to 24 months from the last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Customer data: for the duration of the business relationship and for up to 24 months thereafter, or for the period required by accounting and tax regulations.
  • Meta and LinkedIn credentials: until you revoke access or the service ends; at that point, we delete them.

7. How We Protect Them

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures: credentials are stored on a server with restricted access and outside of any public folders; access is limited to the team providing the service; and all connections to the platforms use HTTPS.

8. Your Rights

You can request at any time access, correction, update or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent by sending an email to the address listed in Section 1. We respond to requests for access within 10 calendar days and to requests for correction or deletion within 5 business days.

The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated for that purpose, as established in Article 14, paragraph 3, of Law No. 25,326. The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION, in its capacity as the supervisory body for Law No. 25,326, is authorized to address complaints and claims filed by individuals whose rights have been infringed due to noncompliance with current regulations regarding the protection of personal data.

9. How to Request the Deletion of Your Data

If you used or authorized our app on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn and would like us to delete your data:

  1. Email us at the Section 1 email address with the subject line "Data Deletion", specifying the name of the page or account.
  2. We will delete the credentials, metrics, and saved content from that account within 5 business days and confirm this with you via email.
  3. In addition, you can revoke the app's access at any time from your account:
    • Facebook / Instagram: Meta Business Settings → Partners (or Business Integrations in your profile) → Remove Agencia Cosmos.
    • LinkedIn: On your business page → Admin Tools → Manage Administrators, or under Settings → Data Privacy → Allowed Services.

10. Cookies

We use first-party and third-party cookies to make the site work and to track its usage. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; if you do, some features may not work properly.

11. Minors

Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page along with the date it was updated, and if the change is significant, we will notify our customers by email.
